All the old family photos would take me back to a time when I didn’t even exist yet. I’d pretend that I was there playing dolls with my mother as a child, or chasing my dad’s childhood dog with him. Most importantly, it gave me a chance to feel like I got to meet some family members that had past before my time. Each photo is it’s own little time capsule. Preserving that moment for as long as it’s new physical (or digital, let's be honest) form allows. It is almost as if photos turn you into a time traveler.

As a kid, I wanted to be many things. I wanted to own a zoo so I could make sure all the animals were treated fairly. They would all be my best friends, and I’d magically be able to speak their language. I also wanted to be a Paleontologist so I could spend my days exploring nature, and trying to imagine what the land looked like before. Most of all, I secretly wanted to be a mommy. And ya know what, I’ve almost became all of them! I now spend my days being a SAHmommy of two beautiful and wild girls. One is a bonus baby, and the best big sissy out there. My other is my crazy little clone. She definitely has her mother’s feisty sprit. To say I’m in trouble is an understatement… So I may not own a zoo, and I don’t get to actually dig for dino bones….but I do get to explore nature while capturing the past. I get to help create new memories that you can look back on, and remember how life was at that moment.

My style is very Go-with-the-Flow. I love to use natural lighting with nature’s backdrops. Heck, I’ll probably be dragging you to a few different locations all while rushing to get that golden hour sun. Having a fun, genuine and memory making time is always my main goal. I do have to warn you, though. I will probably (dEFiniTeLY) trip over my words. I’ll even trip over that rock or stick. I’ll make a fool of myself, but that just means I’ll get a true laugh out of you. We’ll get through it together.

I’m always trying to keep things lite and comfortable for everyone. Promise we’ll be friends after!!

Since I was a little girl, looking at photo albums was my favorite pastime.
